| What a fun (but exhausting!) weekend we had with the NCWR Weim & Pony Show at the Golden Gate Kennel Club Dog Show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco!! We talked to HUNDREDS of wonderful folks about Weims, which I think resulted in some very solid leads for adoption as well as volunteers - that's what it's all about!! The only Weim entered in the show was Debbie Hopkins Top Hat Weim "Preacher", so thanks to Deb for answering questions as well. We took in a whopping $206 over the two days in Weim Cut-Out photos, and Valentine bandana sales! Thanks to our amazing volunteers who braved the parking, crowds and general insanity that is the Cow Palace to work at our booth: Dana Giese Michelle & baby Reina Diaz Jay Wyman Jill Breckenridge Jason Martin A very special thanks to Jay & Mary Wyman who not only put me up overnight at their beautiful home, but treated me to an incredible Italian dinner, and taxied me to & from the Cow Palace! It made my long weekend so much more enjoyable. As always - here are some photos from our fun weekend. |
